Custody Guidelines for Britney Spears Shared by Barbara Rose, Ph.D.

Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) May 13, 2008 -- Barbara Rose, Ph.D. bestselling author of numerous highly acclaimed books including, Stop Being the String Along, Individual Power, and If God Hears Me I Want an Answer! shares important guidelines for Britney Spears to re-gain and keep shared custody of her sons.

When asked why she did this, Rose answered, "I remember when I lost primary custody of my children in 1996. It felt like my heart and soul was ripped out of my chest and shredded. The emotional pain was devastating. I had no one to guide me, and I never did anything wrong to my precious children. As I watched Britney go through the same emotionally devastating scenario, I had to help her, without an agenda, which is why I published the Custody Guidelines for free on line."

When asked how she learned the guidelines, Rose replied, "When you lose primary custody, and then re-gain shared custody, you learn a tremendous amount of 'behind-the-scenes' information that is of pivotal value, and rare to find at best." Rose continued, "as I watched Britney go through the same emotional agony, I 'knew' what she was going through, and I saw that she direly needed healthy, positive guidelines to help her re-gain shared custody of her children. I wrote them for her from my heart. They are also part of one of my forthcoming books, "Essential Custody Do's and Don'ts" (ISBN-10: 0979516153 Rose Group, August 2009.)

When asked to describe some of the guidelines published, Rose answered, "Your emotional demeanor in court, how to dress in court, how to speak to the Judge, what to NEVER do with the Judge, the biggest secret about attorney's and the Judge presiding over the case, career guidelines that are in the best interest of the children, how to view the other parent, there is a lot there, and all of it is crucial information."

One of the most important gender neutral guidelines Rose published is "The Mindset about the Other Parent." Rose imparts an important perspective, which is to view the custody situation as each parent equally sharing for the physical care of the children, instead of 'winning' or 'losing' custody.

When asked how she learned this, Rose shared, "In my book, If God Hears Me, I Want an Answer! I share the deep emotional agony of losing custody of my small children felt like a death to me. My perspective at that time as far as the way I was viewing the situation was that 'I lost my children.' I wrote a letter to God specifically asking, "Why did you let me lose my children?" The answer I received as words flowed into my mind that I wrote down were, "You did not "lose" your children you are merely sharing for the physical care of them with their father. You are their Mother, you can see them, they will always be in your life, they will always be close to you, please shift your view from "loss" to "sharing."

Rose explained, "That answer completely transformed my perspective. It lifted the deepest pain, and caused me to want to be alive." When asked if this was one of the guidelines printed, Rose answered, "Yes, I also feel this is the most important, life enhancing perspective all parents need to have during and after custody litigation."

Rose is clearly on a mission from the heart. Her website BornToInspire.com has a plethora of articles, a new book just released, "The Ins and the Outsiders" that she is giving away completely free of charge to ten thousand teenagers globally, she also provides help free of charge on her Yahoo group.

When asked what the most important thing to her is, Rose replied, "first my children, and making a positive difference for others. When I find out my work helped someone, that's what means the most to me in life."

If you wish to read the custody guidelines there is a link on the home page that will grant you access to the document. They are guidelines that are for all parents, and if followed, can make the custody litigation much less distressing, which will ultimately benefit the most important people involved, the precious children.
